Skin Cancer Treatment
There are many different types of skin cancer and therefore, many different types of treatments available.
Some skin cancers and pre-cancers can be treated by simply freezing or scraping away the cancer cells. Others may need a more complex treatment, such as the complete excision of the tumor to check for margins.
More aggressive skin cancers may require a more specialized treatment called MOHS micrographic surgery.
Melanoma is the most serious form of skin cancer. If recognized early, it is almost always curable using outpatient surgery alone.
